Q. What are some of the
recent projects that you've been working on?
A. Well, I just finished up
two episodes of "Jericho" and there is a whole character arc that I'm going to
be doing on that one. We're just waiting for another good episode of "Saving
Grace" to come through.
Q. What can you tell us
about your character on "Jericho" since the show recently got renewed?
A. The character's name is
Chavez, I can't tell you too much because there is a big reveal in the
episodes. What I can tell you is that he is a very good friend of Lenny James'
character. I'm about the only character in "Jericho" to ever really be able to
match him.
Q. Was anything about
the role challenging for you?
A. Number one I went in
and they had to shave my head. It was the middle of the summer, it was in July
actually, so it was quite nice actually. The role was very physical and I had
to do quite a few stunts. I pretty much did them all but there was only one
that I didn't do. I actually ended up doing it but with a pad, where the stunt
guy didn't use a pad. The only other pressure was to step up to the plate
because most of my scenes were with Lenny. He's a great actor and you know you
have to step up to the plate and match him.
Q. How much training
did you have to go through to perform those stunts?
A. It was more stuff that
they basically taught me on the day I was shooting. I mean, I'm a pretty
physical guy as it is, I run, I run four or five miles a day. I hit the gym, I
dirt bike, I'm at the beach boogey boarding every weekend. I stay pretty
physical and fit.
Q. What is it about the
show that really drew you to wanting to be a part of it?
A. I was definitely a fan
of the show, and moreso, I think the arc that the character gets to go through.
Q. What do you think it
is about the show that has latched so many viewers?
A. To be honest, number
one, probably just the actors themselves and the storylines. I think Skeet,
Lenny, and Ashley, I think they all do a great job with their characters and
make their characters likable enough that you can relate to them. Then
obviously the writing, any good show that goes on for years has a lot to do with
the writing.
Q. You mentioned in
your spare time you're very active. What else do you enjoy doing?
A. This past weekend I was
up in Lake Arrowhead, I was wake boarding and dirt biking all weekend. Just
anything outdoors where I can challenge myself physically and hang out with my
friends.
Q. Do you have a
website where fans can go and learn more about you?
A. There are a couple of
fans that got together and there is a site called
ChrisKramerfans.com.
Or, if they want to check out the TV show I did in Canada for three years, it's
called "The Collector," they can go to
TheCollectorTV.com. |
